Jean-Luc Masbou
Jean-Luc Masbou is a french comic artist born in 1963 in Figeac. In order to realize his childhood dream of creating comic books, he starts working with Alain Ayroles who he met at the Beaux Art academy. They create together the serie De Cape et de Crocs between 1995 and 2016. In this work, the artist draws from his passion for great landscapes and movies adventures like Star Wars, Highlander, Conan the Barbarian or even more so, the swashbuckling movies with Jean Marais and Princess Bride, which are major influences in his work.
