Laurence Campbell is a UK based artist who has has worked for major publishers including Marvel, Darkhorse, Rebellion (2000AD), AWA and Image Comics. His work includes major characters such as Punisher Max, Deadpool Pulp, Marvel Universe Vs Wolverine, X-Men, Moonknight, Stephen King's The Dark Tower- The Way Station, Hellboy and Judge Dredd.
He worked on Mike Mignola's BPRD (Hellboy Universe) for an extensive amount of years and is one of the established artists in the Hellboy Universe. More recently he was part of the team behind the creator owned The One Hand and the Six Fingers which won an Eisner in 2025 for best Graphic Album reprint.
A background in graphic design and teaching at Central Saint Martin's Art College is evident in his unique old school story telling and dynamic page composition and has given him a loyal following. He has a noir, cinematic style and is known for his use of blacks and shadows.
