Monte Michael Moore is an multi award-winning American artist renowned for his vibrant, dynamic work in the realms of pop culture, science fiction, fantasy, and western art. Raised on a cattle ranch, Moore developed an early love for the wide-open spaces, rugged landscapes, and authentic traditions of the American West. Growing up with a passion for both art and storytelling, he drew inspiration from comic books, movies, tales of the Old West, and the imaginative worlds they conjured. His early fascination with characters, action, adventure, and the untamed beauty of the western countryside became the bedrock for his future artistic endeavors.
Moore’s professional journey began in the early 1990s, and since then, he has established himself as a versatile creator whose work spans fine art, illustration, comics, commercial projects, and celebrated western paintings. Working in a wide variety of media, Monte offers his collectors choices in oils, acrylics, mixed media, watercolor, pencil, charcoal and most traditional mediums.
Monte Michael Moore has received numerous awards for his contributions to illustration, pop culture, and western art. His works have been featured in galleries, conventions, western art shows, and special exhibitions across the United States and internationally. Monte has been a Guest of Honor Artist at notable pop-culture events around the globe including San Diego Comic-Con International, Lucca Comics and Games in Italy as well as MegaCon, Edinburgh Comic Con, Con Comics in Mexico, FACTS event in Belgium and countless others in his 32 years as a full time professional illustrator.
